i have a pipe dream that i want to talk about just because:

So, in the theatre club at Middlesex County College called Backstage Players, and every semester we produce one play submitted by one of the members. The student directs it, casts it, finds a tech crew etc and the club produces it (for lack of a better term). The coolest part is, we get to use the Studio Theatre which is two years old and a really nice little space and the college advertises for it like they would a normal show sho chances are your efforts get an audience.

This semester we're doing the Vagina Monologues directed by my friend Shawn Cohoon. She's a really cool girl and the whole production is going to be awesome (...and not just becuse she and i are designing lights together).

The next open spot is gonna be in the Fall. If I had the modivation, creativity, and knowledge neccesary to write a play over the summer and then have it on the stage next semester I would.

I've been reading some beckett and some ionesco. I would kill to do The Trojan Women but we don't have enough people for a proper chorus.

suggestions anyone?

i have a huge horrible spider bite on my thigh that scared the hell out of my doctor. i can't walk, wear normal pants, lean on it or make direct eye contact with it without searing pain.
